Through our international on-site presence, we combine support from German lawyers in Germany with competent representation and consulting on-site in the USA or Great Britain, by US lawyers or UK solicitors and barristers.
Urban Thier & Federer Attorneys at Law advises medium-sized companies on international commercial and tax law matters, in the German-American and German-English spheres, as well as within the European Union. If you need assistance with negotiating and drafting international distribution agreements, international business formations, or joint venture agreements, we are happy to help. We also regularly represent German clients in litigation and economic law proceedings, including patent disputes, in the USA, Great Britain, and the EU. We also advise Urban Thier & Federer Attorneys at Law structures from an international liability and tax law perspective.
Furthermore, the firm represents Private individuals in international matters, particularly German-American and German-English inheritance cases. Have you inherited from the USA or UK? We will carry out the probate proceedings for you on-site. We also handle the payment of inheritance tax and the credit for foreign taxes in Germany, within the framework of the respective double taxation agreement.
Finally, we also advise and support clients in relation to international, particularly German-American and German-English family law disputes, such as international divorces, prenuptial agreements with international relevance, custody, and similar matters.
